However, the traditional oil-based synthetic leather will produce a large amount of organic waste gas, waste water and hazardous solid waste in the process of production. The energy consumption of the synthetic leather will also be large. The synthetic leather products also have defects such as breathability, moisture permeability and toxicity. Therefore, the pformation and upgrading of China's synthetic leather industry is particularly important.
The aquatic eco synthetic leather production line put into operation in Lishui is of great significance to China's environmental protection and sustainable development.
The new production line uses waterborne resin as raw material for leather making, which is a non-toxic environmental protection product itself. Therefore, no toxic gas or liquid is discharged during the production process, which can realize cleaner production and reduce the large amount of cost needed to recover the three wastes.
At the same time, the synthetic leather processed by waterborne resin contains a large number of hydrophilic groups and microporous structure. It has the characteristics of breathability, moisture permeability and leather like touch, and has better safety performance. It is a truly green and environmentally friendly product.
Waterborne synthetic leather will be widely used in shoes, bags, clothing, furniture and other fields.
